Installing on Windows

  1. Open the downloaded file.
  2. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Open The Lawyers Companion from the Start menu.

Installing on Mac

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag the app into Applications.
  2. The first time, if macOS says it cannot check the app, open System Settings › Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
  3. Open it from Applications or Launchpad.

Moving between versions

In either version, open Data and backup and create a backup file. Then restore it in the other version with the same password.
